MBA Information Session in Charlotte

Check out this opportunity to visit with a consortium of MBA programs with possible merit based fellowships. .

The Consortium for Graduate Study in Management, a national not-for-profit organization with a focus on diversity and inclusion in American business, will host an information session for prospective MBA candidates in Charlotte, NC May 28, 2009. The event will kick-off The Consortium's 43rd Annual Orientation Program and Career Forum.

When: Thursday, May 28, 2009 = 5 - 7 p.m.

The Consortium Information Session is free and open to individuals interested in pursuing a master's degree in business administration. The event will provide a platform for prospective MBA applicants to network with school representatives, MBA alumni and current MBA students from our member schools, which are top among the nation's MBA programs (Carnegie Mellon University, Dartmouth College, Emory University, Indiana University-Bloomington, University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, New York University, University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, University of Rochester, University of Southern California, The University of Texas at Austin, University of Virginia, Washington University in St. Louis, University of Wisconsin-Madison, and Yale University).

Sustainability Management Information Session

You are cordially invited to an information session on Thursday, November 19th at 6:00 p.m. to learn more about the proposed M.S. in Sustainability Management being developed by Columbia University's School of Continuing Education and The Earth Institute.

The M.S. in Sustainability Management is a brand-new program that will formally train and educate sustainability practitioners for a broad range of fields. Students will learn sophisticated environmental measurement tools and cutting-edge environmental science to fully understand the systematic and organizational role of sustainability in any organization. This program is ideal for practitioners and aspiring professionals working in organizational management, regulatory compliance, facilities operations, and environmental stewardship. This program will accommodate busy schedules and have both a full-time a part-time track.

Pending approval by the University Senate, the program plans to accept the first class beginning in fall 2010.
