When I last wrote, we were in the thick of travel season. Well, time flies and I am woefully behind in my effort to keep you updated on the latest from the Office of Admission & Financial Aid. . Davidson students are in the midst of exam week and  many high school seniors are hard at work on their college applications while others are eagerly awaiting notification on their Early Decision applications. So, what are Davidson admission counselors up to? We are reading those  applications and meeting in committee to begin forming Davidson’s Class of 2016.

For those of you awaiting Early Decision outcomes, our notification day is just around the corner. We will post and mail decisions next week. For those of you still at work on your applications, please be in touch if you have questions or visit the Connect section of our site to listen to podcasts about writing your essay and what happens after you submit your application materials to our office. Remember, the deadline for both Early Decision II and Regular Decision is January 2. APPLY soon!

In the weeks (and months) ahead, I will be writing about our application review process, sharing observations about reading season and pointing you toward resources that will (hopefully) allow you to continue your exploration of the college.
