Davidson students are mostly off of campus this week for Spring Break. While our regular bloggers are out taking some much needed rest and relaxation, we at the Davidson College Office of Admission and Financial Aid thought the readers of Explore.Davidson might want to see all of the interesting things students do after they graduate. So, this week we decided to introduce “The Graduate Series,” a series of posts from guest bloggers who happen to be recent alumni of Davidson College. Davidson Alumni do some pretty incredible things all across the world. Recent alums went into business, working for Fortune 500 companies like Bank of America or Dell. Others have gone into education, working as close as Charlotte with Teach for America as far away as Japan with the Chelsea English School. Others still go on to further study in medicine, law, or other professional and graduate programs. Tune in all this week for the first Graduate Series featuring members of the Class of 2010. Guest bloggers will include a traveling scholar of Parkour, graduates working to prevent the spread of AIDS in Africa, teachers at home and abroad, and an alumnus analyst for the Department of Defense in Washington DC. Check back all week for the first installments of “The Graduate Series” – The Class of 2010: Global Perspectives, Domestic Service. We hope you enjoy!
