Justin Strickland ’14
Major: Undecided
Springfield, VA
Hailing from the hustle and bustle of Northern Virginia, I joined the Davidson community as a first year student this past fall. Often seen around campus dawning my Eskimo headgear or bright yellow rain boots, I always enjoy the spiffy, kooky, and unique. A love of the finer qualities of the chick flick, a penchant for gourmet cooking and the need for a hot cup of Peppermint Tea each morning collectively color my life. Besides the little thing called school, I have found the time to join Davidson’s Theatre Department in their fall production of Galileo, as well as the school’s spoken word poetry team, Freeword. Additionally I volunteer with the school’s student outreach program Scholars Helping Scholars, a service organization dedicated to tutoring local Middle and High school students Monday through Thursday.
Currently I am undecided as to where my Davidson adventure will take me but I am sure it will be one exciting ride.
