During the winter break ITS will upgrade its software and equipment for SPAM protection and blocking. We anticipate that the result will be more accurate SPAM blocking (less SPAM reaching your mailbox as legitimate mail) and a more convenient interface for checking your personal quarantine.
Some details:
* You will be able to access the quarantine Web site at any time to review the messages that have been classified as SPAM. Users will no longer have to wait until they receive the quarantine digest email messages to check their quarantined items.
* You’ll only have one quarantine digest to check and will receive only one e-mail alert that one or more messages have been quarantined.
* The new equipment will provide general performance enhancements, meaning you’ll spend less time processing through our quarantined mail.
All of these changes will be seamless to users. We hope the only thing you notice is less SPAM and easier management of your quarantine.
