Warning: Malicious e-mails are circulating

Over the last several days we have been receiving numerous email messages that contain a malicious exploit.

The subjects are similar to: “You’ve received a greeting postcard from a family member”. Do not click on the links contained in these messages. The links to go a web site that claims to be working on Greeting Cards and asks you to download the malicious code.

ITS has begun tagging the messages so that they go to your Junk E-mail folder. The subjects affected are any that begin with the following phrases: “You’ve received a greeting”, “You’ve received a postcard”, and “You’ve received an ecard”.

Subjects can take these various forms:
You've received [a|n] [greeting|] [postcard|ecard] from a [admirer|class-mate|colleague|family member|friend|mate|neighbor|neighbour|partner|school friend|school mate|school-mate|worshipper]!
