Faculty and staff email accounts will be moved to an Exchange 2007 email server on Friday, September 21st, at 5:00 p.m. Your email quota will increase from 100MB to 1GB.
The move process will take 15 to 20 minutes per account. Your email will be inaccessible during this short window. While it is not possible to predict when a specific email account will move, we anticipate the entire process will be complete by 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 22nd. We will post a message to ITS News Blog as soon as the process is complete. If moving your email account tomorrow presents a problem for you, we’ll be happy to accommodate you. Simply let us know by contacting our Help Desk.
If you use Entourage, a Smartphone/Active Sync, or Outlook full client from off campus (RPC over HTTP), you will need to make changes to your current setup after your email account is moved to the new server. Click on the preceding links for full instructions on how to make the relevant changes to your setup.
