We are pleased to announce the availability of Davidson's iTunes U site located at http://itunes.davidson.edu. iTunes U, the educational component of the popular iTunes music store, is quickly emerging as a dominant new platform in the delivery of educational, instructional and cultural content in a rich media format.
It features a rich set of educational audio and video from top universities and colleges, leading museums, PBS stations and other cultural institutions. The content is accessible from any Internet-connected computer, iPod or iPhone.
For more information or assistance with preparing your educational content for itunes.davidson.edu, please contact an ITS instructional technologist. Access to materials placed on iTunes U can be controlled granularly to only those students enrolled in your course, anyone with a Davidson network account, or, if you choose, made available on the Internet. Creating your own iTunes content is easy and we are available to help you.
