You are invited to the semiannual used computer equipment sale on Friday, May 1st from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. in the Sprinkle Room of the Knobloch Campus Center.
Computers will be sold on a first come first served basis. A signup sheet will be posted at 7:30 a.m. on Friday morning and doors will open at 9:00 a.m. Sales will be handled sequentially per the signup sheet. You or your designated representative will need to be present when your name is called to retain your place.
If you are unable to attend the sale you may send a representative to shop on your behalf. Your representative does not have to be a Davidson employee; however, please email their name to Mary Jones (mdjones@davidson.edu) by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 30th.
Items for sale include Apple Power Mac G5s, an iMac, Powerbook G4 laptops, as well as Dell Optiplex desktops and Dell Latitude laptops. These are systems purchased in or before 2005. They are out of warranty and are no longer of use on campus. Individual peripherals, including flat panel monitors, will also be sold. This equipment is being sold because of its age. Interested buyers should consider the suitability of these units for their intended use.

Accepted payment methods are cash or personal check.
Sale is open only to Davidson College faculty, staff and students.
Computers are sold without an operating system or other software. Information about purchasing operating systems and Microsoft Office at cheaper educational prices will be given.
One computer per person.
Computers may not be purchased for on campus use.
Computers with hardware failure within thirty days of purchase may be exchanged for a similar model or returned for a refund.
No delivery, installation or other service connected with this purchase is offered.
Merchandise will not be held.
This used equipment will not be supported by ITS.
