Golf Sources

I am not completely sure what person I want to use as an interview for my research paper.
I am in between on interviewing a golf pro at the course that I usually play at or interviewing my grandad who is 84 and has played golf his entire life.  I am leaning toward interviewing my grandad because I think that he would know more about the changes in golf technology and how technology has changed the game of golf.  I think that he would offer more insight on how technology affects modern players ability compared to players in the past.  On the other hand a golf pro would know a lot about technology in golf today and how the game is now played with it.  I am not sure which one to use or should I use both?

I think interviewing your grandfather would be most helpful to you when researching your topic. I think he would be able to tell you how technology has evolved through the years and how it has affected his golf game. I think this would be a good way to track the progression of golf over the years and might give you some insight into whether it has actually been "progress". However, interviewing the golf pro probably wouldnt be a bad idea either. He could probably explain current technology in a way thats easy to understand.

You could consider interviewing the golf coach here at Davidson. I'm not sure about his age, but he should know a ton about the way golf has changed over the years...
