Golf Technology

I have decided to write about technology in golf and how golfer's abilities are undermined by the new technology that they are constantly bombarded with.
I am writing about how new technology in golf gives golfers that don't have a lot of ability the chance to shoot great rounds and play with other golfers that they shouldn't be able to play with.  I want to use books by Jack Nickolaus, Ben Hogan, and Byron Nelson to compare the way that they played golf to how golf is played today.  From them I will show how technology has changed the game of golf for the worse.  I am also going to talk to a golf pro and use course designs to show how the game has been forced to change do to technology.

That's interesting because I'm sure there are plenty of people that would argue no matter how much technology has improved in golf (and it defnitely has improved a lot) that the average or even good player can't hang with the ones that have true talent even with the technology. I've even heard people argue that the old greats are better than Tiger because they played so good without any technology on their side. The course design is also cool because it seems like each year they're lengthening courses to keep up with new technology.
