I'm still having trouble defining my thesis. I think Facebook would be an interesting paper topic that is relevant to our generation. I'm just not sure which direction to take my thesis. I need to focus it more, most likely on one aspect of facebook. Any ideas?

I found an article that might be useful for you, "Online Communications and Adolescent Relationships" in The Future of Children journal. I found it through indexes, communication, and I believe the library has it on microfilm. But it talks some about social networking sites and adolescents.
