Not sure what direction to go with my thesis.  I could focus more on where highways are put and why (positive or negative reasons), low speed limits make highways more dangerous, or the negative effects of Nadar's book on car safety.  Any thoughts?

quick thoughts.

for the speed limit topic, would you just want to give evidence that low speed limits make highways dangerous, or would you want to argue for a view on why they make highways more dangerous?

for the topic on where to put highways, i think it would help to give a narrower sub-topic.

For Nader, see Malcolm Gladwell's article "Wrong Turn" : http://www.gladwell.com/2001/2001_06_11_a_crash.htm
