I was just wondering how, if any, you guys used online social networking sites, such as facebook or myspace, in relation to the 2008 election.

I did not use a social networking site myself, but you should be able to research why the Obama campaign put so much emphasis on sites like facebook. It seemed like everytime I got onto facebook there was something on their about the election and voting for Obama. Also, since it's after the election more news should start developing concerning their campaign methods.
I donated my status to a candidate on facebook. I agree with James. This presidential election really tried to connect with the younger generation through social networking sites.
