Nuclear Power in the U.S.

I am trying to decide which sub-topic of nuclear power would be the most interesting to read: 1) Proliferation, 2) Energy, or 3) Waste. I am leaning toward waste, but I would like some imput/advice.

taylor,

i think there's plenty of information on all of them; i'd start reading and see if you found an interesting new angle on one of them that you could develop.

I think waste might make a more interesting paper because although people can contest nuclear energy as being unsafe, the waste aspect of nuclear power is to me at least more interesting, and I would say less talked about in general. Waste seems to be an issue that might almost be overlooked today with the focus on just supplying energy. Any of the 3 are interesting though.
