Animated Debussy

Here is a scene from animator Bruno Bozzetto's 1977 film Allegro non troppo, which depicts Claude Debussy's Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun. The film is a parody of Disney's Fantasia.

Debussy's piece was inspired by a poem by Stéphane Mallarmé . Sensuality abounds in both poem and music. Bozzetto focuses on these sensual themes; BE FOREWARNED, there is animated nudity in this segment:
