The great play, the excitement, and ... Your basketball team is wonderful!
Unlike most it is a team ...something very special to see ... the highlight of this year's NCAA tournament. You've now made the world aware of Davidson basketball ...and the college, as well. I for one, out here in Oklahoma, will be keeping up with your accomplishments next season. Best wishes to you to win it all in 2009.

Thank you guys ALL for being such wonderful stewards of the attention that your talent, teamwork, and hardwork brought to our school!
What an awesome time it has been watching you guys play so well together, exceeding everyones expectations but your own...AWESOME. I have loved digging through my drawers to find my 10 year old Wildcat shorts and t-shirts to sport on the weekends!
Many many thanks to each of you for the role that you played in making such a successful team:-).
Warmest regards from Atlanta,
Alan

Please add my thanks and considerable admiration to the TEAM- players, coaches, students, trustees etal.
My father, who passed away while I was at Davidson, taught me a number of things. One that has repeatdely rung true over time was that life's exciting experinces had three phases- the joy of anticipation, the joy of the event itself and joyful memories. I'm sure the team anticipated the run and they certainly seemed to be having a magnificent time in Raleigh and Detroit. My hope for them is that they will enjoy looking back as much all of us will and will for the rest of their lives. The thing I will rccall most fondly is that these young people, who showed grace and humility as representatives of their college, NEVER took a timid step in competition-certainly including Mr. Richard's final shot. A great feeling to relish and recall.
