My wife Diane and I had tickets to one and only one Celtics game at Boston Garden for the 2007-2008 season.
This game was against New Orleans last Friday night, 28Mar. This was, of course, the same night as your game against Wisconsin. With some reluctance we set out to see the Celtics game. I made sure to wear my Davidson T-shirt.
Celtics fans, not surprisingly, are well tuned in to all things basketball. By about half-time several people sitting around us with cell phone connections to the outside world were keeping us informed as to the status of your game. When it was clear you had the victory in hand our little circle of fans were sharing in the success and asking us questions about Davidson. After the game on the way out of the Garden a number of people stopped us, congratulated us on the victory, and suggested we should root for Villanova in the Kansas game.
It was great fun to be a Davidson graduate that night. Thanks for a fantastic season.

I just want to say your team did absolutely amazing in this years tournament and easily was the most exciting to watch. Watching you guys was priceless I could never get bored of seeing your games on tv, you definitely deserve to get more nationally televised games. And Stephen Curry, I'm a fan for life and am looking foward to seeing you progress into a great NBA player just like your father. I hope you come back because there is truly no atmosphere quite like the NCAA tournament it never disappoints.

Great season gentlemen. I grew up watching Dell Curry play for the Hornets, so watching his son lead my Alma Mater during this season was a special treat. I was looking forward to rooting for you against UNC (my younger brother's Alma Mater), but am still extremely proud of the heart and determination you showed going against Kansas. Can't say how much I enjoyed watching you completely unnerve and rattle such a powerhouse team. And show me another school that sent such a significant proportion of it's student body to root for their team in the NCAA tournament, basically for free! Great day to be a Wildcat.

The Basketball community in Ireland is incredibly proud of the Wildcats! Many fans networked on cell phones across the island while watching every second of the Davidson games. The Players, Coaching Staff and fans were just incredible, and have given us all lifetime memories. I wish everyone involved further success in the future. My brother Michael and his fellow countryman Conor played with the Wildcats a few seasons ago so it is a great privilege for Ireland to be associated with such an outstanding College and Basketball programme. Thank You!
